Hannah, the poet

Ah, the new term starts, and as I launch into A2 English I found myself inspired to write a poem. No, not about daffodils and war and boring crap like that, but to those that inspire me most. I give you...

***

An Ode To Woolvetts
In the land not far beyond
(across that irksome little pond)
Ye might espy a beauteous sight,
That fills the viewer with delight.
And here is what you'll see.
Gordon, the brother of lesser years,
Chock-full of talent right up to his ears.
His hair bonny blonde (but right now astray,
Perhaps stolen, hidden or on holiday)
And his eyes like the sea on a tropical beach.
With dimples set into his pinchable cheeks.
Also answers to the name "Harper".
Jaimz, a drip in the proverbial waterfall,
He's the best drip around, and so says us all.
Acted with Eastwood in his cowboy togs,
But he's just as happy when his co-stars are dogs.
He's got good looks and he's got soul,
He plays guitar, sings rock 'n' roll.
He and Moze are up to something...
Blonde hair, blue eyes, and dimples galore,
To look at they're heaven, and much more.
Each unique in his own special way.
Don't believe me? Look at it this way.
Nothing rhymes with Woolvett.
Nothing.
I've checked.

Shakespeare, eat your heart out.
That poem was dedicated to Gordon Michael Woolvett and Jaimz N. Woolvett, whose middle name we sadly do not know.

doesn't Corvette (a type of car, favoured by Faceman in The A-Team) rhyme with Woolvett?

otherwise, loving it - lol, literally did make me laugh out loud.

Why thank you! Any friend of Moze is a friend of mine.

But nothing rhymes with Woolvett.
